1) There is an apparent connection between I-330 and MEPHI. MEPHI we learn is a rebellious group or organization who try to overthrow the One State, and we learn she is part of this group. She takes D-503 down into an underground tunnel, where they meet the rebellion and we first learn that she is associated with them. From this, we see who I-330 really is, and a suspicion grows as to what her real intentions are in the novel.
2) I-330's main objective was to overthrow the One State government, but in doing so attacking the government from within, trying to convert the ciphers and citizens of the One State and make them join the rebellion, especially with D-503 by using sexual seduction and 'love' to make him like her so much that he would do anything for her.
3) I think Zamyatin's point at the end of the novel was to show how dark and bad things could get in this kind of society. By executing I-330 and erasing D-503's imagination, this shows how he thought things may have been going in his society in 1919 Russia, and thus trying to warn people what may come if things continued the way they were going. He apposed communism very much, and wanted to show the tragic ends of these characters as a symbol of what may happen to a lot more people in real life.
